• The Conservative Party leadership election is won by Rishi Sunak, who will take office as the next prime minister of the United Kingdom.
• Sunak will be the third British prime minister in two months following the resignations of Boris Johnson and Liz Truss; the development comes after weeks of unrest.
• Rishi Sunak Born in the UK's South Hampton area to an Indian family, Rishi Sunak is the son of pharmacist mother and a National Health Service general practitioner father,Sunak will make history by being the first leader of Britain who is both of Hindu faith and of Indian ancestry.
